1. Beloved Long Runs (BLR), being an organiser of training runs (events), is not a registered running club but rather a non-exclusive community of like-minded runners driven by volunteers for the benefit of the wider Durban running community.
  2. There are no permissions expressed or implied by the organisers, facilitators or volunteers and participants’ involvement at an event is entirely at their own risk and without express permission from the organiser’s facilitators or volunteers.
  3. Running is a physically active sport and you should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a strenuous physical pursuit such as this. Participants accept that they do so entirely at their own risk and that it is their responsibility to ensure that they are fit and able to take part in the event.
  4. BLR and its organisers, facilitators and volunteers do not accept responsibility for injury, loss and damage sustained by a participant at any event.
  5. Children under the age of 18 are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during and after the event.
  6. Any monies charged by BLR is to cover costs associated with the event and is not for personal gain.
  7. Whilst BLR endeavours to provide water stations at every event, this is not guaranteed, and BLR will not be held liable for the absence of water stations at an event.
